Last summer we found a Roberto Cavalli outlet store north of Florence. The dresses I purchased were on sale and labeled “Cavalli Class” — form fitting, beautiful, and simple dresses that reek feminine and sexy — just the right touch of scandal. I added the Joie suede jacket to obscure the maxidress’ plunging neckline so I could wear it during the day — at my desk and on my errands. I pulled by hair back with a barrette for a casual look but then dresses up the outfit with black Eolford tights and short brown Ferragamo boots — I like to add a few details that please me and make me feel glamorous but that maybe no one else will see. Because my stage of life in “Menopause” is all above taking care of me and evaluating how I am going to be a productive worker and contributor in the community.
